MEADOWS AND NATIVE PLANT MATERIAL

Stream Link has installed 2 meadows: 1 in Emmitsburg in between our trees and 1 in Baker Park along Carroll Creek.
In Emmitsburg (December 2023), we removed the existing sod layer, scattered a native meadow seed mix, and covered it with straw. While the first year after a meadow is planted is typically not as diverse, we expect to see a beautiful plot in a couple of years!
In Baker Park (October 2024), we installed 550 native plants from Seven Bends Nursery using a roll-out garden template from Ecoplantia. We performed solarization and sod removal to prepare the planting site and then planted everything, covering it with straw at the end.
